High Meadow's very own digital space where students can publish their writing/art .
At HMS most arts classes meet weekly, including dance, drama, visual arts, and music. Middle school students also experiment with new ideas and develop their interests through electives like anime, drawing and painting, improv/acting, stagecraft, creative writing, and weaving. Do you like books featuring two boys and romance? Lion Hearts might be a good pick, Lion Hearts is a heartwarming story about two boys who are childhood friends falling in love. It was written by Mita Ori to shed light on Japanese gay relationships in the real world, and it talks about very real subjects like one of the main characters Shishimaru overcoming his fear of being rejected by his peers. It is a very beautiful story and I highly recommend it!
